WOW!  This summer sure has turned out to be a hot one! It is taking it's toll on the fruits and vegetables. And that is after a rainy start with the farmers having to replant a lot of there crops because of them getting washed out. Some had to replant THREE times.

Now they are getting hit with the heat and little or no rain. A lot of the vegetable plants are already dying out months ahead of schedule. The tomatoes are rotting on the plants due to the heat.

So the lesson here is, if you see what you want, you better buy it because there may not be any the next time you stop at the market.

All of the farmers market vendors want to give a big Thank You for coming to their new location. There were concerns from a lot of different people on whether you, the customer, would show up.  Well, you did and in BIG NUMBERS!  Without you, the Dickson County Farmers Market would not be a success.

If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve the Market, PLEASE LET US KNOW! We love to hear from our customers.
